Guča – a small town in Central Serbia with a population of just over 2,000 people. Once a year this sleepy village hosts hundreds of thousands of visitors who come for the renowned Trumpet Festival. This huge gathering of traditional Balkan music, food and rakija lasts about a week, with the days and nights, bringing a mad celebration. Brass bands compete for the Gold Trumpet, all generations dance on the streets and everybody forgets about reality. This year the festival was held for the 52nd time which makes it one of the oldest music events in Europe.
